A look back at the birth of the greatest steam show in the world and the story of how it all began. The Great Dorset Steam Fair started over 30 years ago as a local event and is now an international attraction with a wide range of fair organs, tractors, road vehicles, farming equipment, horses, rural crafts, preservationists and so on. It now involves a 600 acre site, 200 plus steam engines and a wide range of other exhibits and market stalls and attracts 200,000 visitors from as far away as New Zealand. But for many their memory of the fair will be mud! With original posters, gorgeous antique black and white photographs, many colour photos and an enthusiastic text.
