This exciting series of programmes digs deep into Massey Ferguson's film archive, bringing to the screen rare and original films depicting machines from the 1930s right up to the present day. The series builds into a unique record of the impact Massey Ferguson and its predecessors made to agriculture the world over.
Volume Eleven sees us enter a new era, with the introduction in 1964 of a whole new worldwide range of Massey Ferguson tractors known as The Red Giants. We begin with "The Farmer's Choice" introducing the new machines to farmers, while the story of a farmers' son taking his first steps in the farming world are featured in a second film "Pupil's Progress" providing MF equipment to the fore and a great deal of humour! Canadian farming comes under the spotlight in "Eight Day Year" and the latest combines of the time are put through their paces in "Harvest 66" all of which highlight the colossal contribution of the Red Giants.
Whatever your specific interest, you will be certain to find something fascinating in this unique series as we move from vintage machines, through the classic era and then to the sophisticated machines of today.
