The story of the Australian ACCO truck is a complex one and of interest to anyone who has been involved with it over the years. From the tough Army MK1 trucks of the 1950's to the powerful Atkinson 4870 linehaul models there were many variations and stories to be told.

Surprisingly, the ACCO survived the financial collapse of the giant International Harvester empire during the 1980's. Under new ownership of Iveco it was updated and still sells well today, making it perhaps the world's longest selling truck model.
