First published in 1905, reprinted 1994. This book gives a basic introduction to the theory behind electroplating, along with practical descriptions of how to electroplate various metals, and then to finish the job of with details of polishing.
The instructions are a little dated, with the the units of measurement being pounds and ounces and the lack of safety instruction for the chemicals, but even if you are not going to do electroplating, the book still provides an interesting insight into how things were once done.
