This is one of a series of books that are an autobiographical collection of Arthur Battelle's life. Since 1938 when he left school at the age of 13 to work on a farm in England, he has always been involved with tractors. The books are as much about Arthur's life as they are about the tractors, implements and agricultural machinery that he has worked with, even going into some mechanical and technical details. With many amusing anecdotes, these books are a good read. The first book goes up to the War, the second covers the fifties up until the sixties, and the last book goes up until the present day.
