This is a new book from Allan T. Condie Publications. The book covers the history of the JCB from when it was founded by Joseph Cyril Bamford in 1945. The first factory was a 12' x 8' garage, where farm trailers were built and reconditioned. The firm quickly grew and started manufacturing loaders and halftrack conversions.
Most of the poducts manufactured by JCB are briefly described and illustrated. Including the farm trailers, the vast range of loaders and backhoes, halftrack conversions, dumpers, tracked excavators, traxcavators, cranes and forklifts.
The 65 pages are filled with many new and historic photos, along with a description of the history of the company, and some serial number lists.
